This was a revelation. Rehydrated in cold water for a few minutes and tossed in a snoothie - undistinguishable from fresh papaya. Chopped like raisins in moroccan couscous - yumm. Endless posibilities....

Simply amazing taste. What I didnt realize is how quickly they dehydrate in the paper bag that they come in. They need to be kept air-tight, otherwise they become the consistency of wood chips....

Its the first time I try Spanish Figs, but they definetly taste better than Turkish Figs, to me. Even if they are not pefectly ripe - so most of them have a pretty thick, chewy skin - they taste adorable....
